Christmas Break:

For Christmas break I plan to spend some time with my loving family. My family and I have plans to go down to the Valley for Christmas and visit my uncle and his family that lives there. 
Things I want for Christmas:

1. Clothes 
2. coffee mug
3. head phones
4. and I dont know what else!!!!

My Christmas break is going to be amazing!

College:

I hope to go to college and find out who I am and what I want to do. I'm going to college for me and my family. I am going so I can get an education and find a job and get so income. With that income I can better the lives of my parents. Choosing a college is very important. You don't want to choose a college that does not offer the degree you want. You have to look into colleges with a lot of caution. I would like a college that offers a full program for what I want to study. I also am looking at great comments on the school. I want to have the best education possible. I would like to seek input from my sister and close friends of hers so I know I am making the best decision about college. College will get me my degree and then get me a job. After getting the job I can get some income and it will be good income so I will be able to achieve my life goals. My goals are buying a house and car for myself (paying them completely off). I also want to buy my parents a nice home. 

Thanksgiving

I have no plans at all for thanksgiving other than spending time with my family. I love my family and I would spend all day with them if I could. I will probably cook something and just hang out with my friends and family.

Jobs:

I found a job at Panera Bread. At Panera for teenagers that are at least 16 years of age will work as Bakery cafe associate. This job consists of dish washing, cashier, and line worker. To prepare for this job you would have to first apply either online or go into the cafe and speak with someone. Then, you would have to take a series of test to see where you stand and if you are the type of person they need. To be able to get a job anywhere you need to know how to work with people, learn fast, adjust to change, and know how to deal with stress.

I think this job is appropriate for our age group because for one they have flexible schedule hours. They are open from 5am-9pm. A lot of us that are juniors now will be able to get early release next year so we could easily get at least 5-6 hours each day. This job opportunity is great. Getting a job around our age is very good because it helps us realize how hard it will be to get our own money and live on our own. It opens our eyes to reality. I think that as juniors we should constantly look for job opportunities. We will learn so much.

The movie was very good. I enjoyed it a lot and I learned something from it. The movie was very depressing but I did like it. My favorite part was when she decided to get here life together and go to school. She put so much effort and dedication she was able to go to Harvard with a full ride scholarship  from the New York Times. This was my favorite part because it shows me what I am capable of doing. If she could finish high school in 2 years then I can do a lot more. With all that she want through she could have just easily gave up and ended the same way her parents did but she didn't, she got her life together. She worked 100 times more than her parents did and she is very successful now. I think if I ever had to go through something like that I don't know if I could come back like she did. I feel like I would be very weak but, if would put my mind and heart to it I could do something with my life.

What surprised me the most was the amount of money i'll have to pay for tuition. I expected to be hundreds of dollars in debt every month but I wasn't. I didn't expect to have 3 people living with me but if I didn't I would be in debt for the rest of my life. Having 3 people living with me lowered the mortgage for me. With this project I realized the insane amount of money that I have to come up with to pay for everything. I think I am in a way prepared for all that responsibility, but I also think it will become overwhelming at times. I could begin to prepare for all of this by getting a job and trying to pay things on my own. That way I begin to learn to pay and take care of myself.

At this moment my top career is pediatric dentistry. This career interests me a lot because, i love children. I also to help and heal people. Dentistry is a very high paying and rewarding job. I think being able to stick something into peoples mouth and extracting a tooth is pretty cool.

I stress out a lot, like most of the time. I stress out over things that probably don't seem a big of deal to other people. For example, I hate when people scream for everything. I begin to get irritated and I go off on them eventually and I just get stressed. Sometimes I get stressed when I'm in a big crowd or even here in school walking through the hallways. I can't stand being around people I don't know or don't like and so often times I get stressed. When I get stressed I usually take it out on other people and I get mad and rude.

I currently don't have an organizational method and that isn't working for me. It does work because I often forget my school work and forget to study for tests.
For me procrastination, depending on the assignment, helps me get the work done better. For example, an essay is easier for me to do it under pressure. Now I know its not the best thing to do but I think it helps me. The only way to fight procrastination is if you are actually willing to change and put forth the effort. Doing work before time isn't fun but it's definitely a lot easier.
